Danske Spil to integrate Playtech’s in-house virtual sports portfolio

Playtech Sports has just integrated its high performing in-house virtual sports portfolio with Danske Spil.

Under the agreement, Denmark’s Danske Spil will integrate Playtech’s ultra-realistic content across its online platform.

Eight of Playtech’s leading titles, which provides players with unique, simulation-based odds for virtual products and allow players to study form and results, were selected by Danske Spil. These titles range from football, tennis, basketball, horse racing, greyhound racing, cycling, trotting, and speedway.

Long-recognized as a major player favorite during the absence of live sport last year, Playtech’s virtual games were developed after a year-long process of advanced motion-capture filming in the UK. It has made a mark as a must-have and engagement driver for 2021.

Already launched across OPAP, GVC, and MansionBet’s online networks in 2020, Richard Andrew, Virtual Sports Director at Playtech Sports, considers this latest partnership as proof of its hugely successful year for the product. He commented:

“We’ve seen player engagement for our virtual sports outmatch even our most optimistic expectations in recent months, and we’re delighted to announce that Danske Spil has launched our innovative virtual sports portfolio.”

Andrew added:

“We’re thrilled to offer the industry’s most exciting simulation of live sports available with our latst collaboration. Danske Spil have customized the product specifically for their Danish players and we have no doubt it will prove to be a strong revenue driver and a firm player favorite.”
