Sports betting and igaming software provider Digitain recently launched Tax Engine, an automated tool that helps operators deal with complex betting tax requirements.
“This development came about as a result of feedback from some of our partners who needed help in complying with betting tax requirements in regulated markets,” Edmond Ghulyan, Head of Sportsbook Development at Digitain, said.
“Our new Tax Engine doe all the heavy lifting for the operators and allows them to confidently tackle their key business objectives,” he added.
Tax Engine’s main functions include the ability to automatically deduct betting tax from the customer’s winnings, from their stake, or in some cases, from both ends. The Tax Engine provides a number of potential tax configurations and is ideally used in markets around the world.
This adjustable solution works effectively with all versions of sportsbook—from Turnkey to Sportsbook API. It also works across all channels; mobile, web, and even in bet shops. The Tax Engine also boasts of an innovative suite of reporting tools.
