Live casino operator Ezugi has been continuously working its way towards international expansion after it launched on the Italian igaming market together with online operator LeoVegas.
As per the agreement, Ezugi is to carry its portfolio of titles to players via the Italian portal of LeoVegas, which includes roulette, punto banco, and blackjack.
Ezugi, part of the Evolution Gaming Group, boasts of nine studios worldwide, including the new Indian-themed facility it launched just this August.
“We have great confidence in this collaboration, and we believe that LeoVegas is Ezugi’s natural partner for its expansion in the Italian regulated market,” Paola Maia, LeoVegas country manager for Italy, said.
“Their strategy was to ensure rapid growth in the first half of 2020, and it shows no signs of setbacks. Plus, their products are a guarantee in terms of innovation and engagement therefore I have no doubt that our players will really love them,” she added.
Certification in Italy follows a recent announcement that has seen Ezugi become the first live dealer network to launch in Lithuania after it was granted approval by the market regulator.
Over 30 roulette, blackjack, and baccarat tables, plus a Russian language roulette and speed roulette versions, were included to the Enlabs Optibet brand.
“We are extremely proud to have secured certification in Italy and launched with such a reputable operator as LeoVegas. Italy has been a market which has been on our radar for some time as a ‘must have’ in our estate portfolio,” Pang Goh, director of business development at Ezugi, said.
“We set our goals early this year to push our innovative product and extensive games library to new regions and extend our footprint across the most attractive gaming territories in Europe. Our team has really raised their game to ensure our products meet the highest regulatory standards demanded by these jurisdictions. They have really taken our offering to the next level, which will substantially benefit our operating partners and their players,” he concluded.
