Romania’s gambling regulator has granted iGaming developer Habanero the greenlight to supply operators across the country with its slots and table games portfolio.
With the accreditation from the ONJN, Habanero is now able to supply its games offering, including titles such as Egyptian Dreams Deluxe, Wizards Want War, 5 Lucky Lions, and Happiest Christmas Tree.
“We are thrilled that the team’s consistent diligence has been recognized by the regulatory body in Romania, a market which we believe to be one of the most interesting and dynamic in Europe,” Arcangelo Lonoce, European Head of Business Development at Habanero, said.
“The news will help us further extend our ever-growing customer reach within the region, following on from a series of high-profile commercial agreements with a succession of Southern Europe’s foremost operators,” he added.
The new license will allow Habenero to expand its commercial footprint across the Romania market.
Early this year, Habanero lauded its receipt of a ‘Critical Gaming Supply License’ from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), calling it a ‘hugely important milestone’.
The MGA license allows the studio to offer its content to Malta-based operators, with several brands in-line for a series of announcements in the near future.
