Microgaming signs content distribution deal with Blox

Gambling software operator Microgaming has joined together with platform and content provider Blox Limited, in a deal that will make its games available to even more players and operators in Italy’s growing online casino market.

The deal, which was signed through Micrograming’s Prima Networks Limited (PNL), will initially see a suite of 50 of the gambling software company’s most popular online slot and casino games delivered to Blox’s game lobby, featuring titles from some of the leading developers in the industry namely Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, and Yggdrasil Gaming.

Better Content Offering

According to Rupert Dix, PNL’s Managing Director, after the initial roll-out, the plan is to add more titles over the coming months in order to allow operators in the region powered by the Italy-facing platform to offer their players even more quality content from Microgaming and their partner studios.

“Italy has a thriving online casino market and we are thrilled to be able to offer our games to more operators and players via this great partnership with Blox,” Dix explained in an official press release.

Well-loved titles from Microgaming such as Lara Croft Temples and Tombs, exclusively developed for the software provider by Triple Edge Studios, together with 9 Masks of Fire, and the vampire-themed game Immortal Romance, will now be offered to operators powered by the Blox platform.

“We have built an incredible portfolio of games from some of the biggest providers in the market and the addition of Microgaming further sets us apart from our rival platform providers and aggregators,” Karl Grech, Chief Commercial Officer for Blox, said.

“Microgaming is undoubtedly one of the industry’s leading content providers and no oline casino game lobby is complete without titles such as Immortal Romance and the Thor-inspired, Thunderstruck II,” he added.
