Leading igaming and sports betting software supplier Playtech has chosen Brian Mattingley as its non-executive Chariman. The new appointment will be effective on June 1st, 2021.
As per the official announcement. Mattingley will resign from his position as Chairman of 888 Holdings where he served for 5 years. Mattingley will be replacing Claire Milne, who has served as the Interim Chairman of the company since May 2020, as Chairman of Playtech.
The renumeration for Mattingley, Playtech explained, has been set at £338,000 per annum. Mattingley has extensive experience in the gambling industry as he joined 888 Holdings in 2005 as a non-executive Director Mattingley also held senior positions at different companies including Ritz Bingo, Kingfisher Plc, Gala Group, and Dee Corporation Plc.

Interim Chairman Claire Milne mentioned in their official announcement that the company plans to make the most of Mattingley’s broad experience to focus on growth.
