Igaming content provider Yggdrasil was recently granted a supplier license in Greece by the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
With this license, Yggdrasil can now launch its game portfolio to players in the region, under its newly revised online gaming regulations.
Reforms to Greece’s regulations passed by its parliament in October 2019, before it was submitted to the European Commission in January 2020. The licensing process subsequently began in October 2020.
A wide range of Yggdrasil’s games are now available to operators in the Greek market.
According to the operator, it has already signed partnerships with a number of known Greek operators, and further information about the deals will be revealed in the coming months.

Yggdrasil joins Playson and Play’n GO in receiving its Greek supplier license, allowing it join the market where operators such as Bet365 and Betsson have also been licensed this year.
